Somerville’s Rockmont Management Co. celebrates 20 years

Rockmont Management, LLC, of Somerville is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a full-service property management company. Somerville resident David Blumsack, who began his career in the landscaping/home repair business, founded the company in 1990.
“I enjoyed landscaping because of the level of creativity you can apply to your work,” said Blumsack. “And the same goes for home repairs because of the need for creative thinking to solve problems efficiently and cost effectively. I began to work with owners of investment property and soon realized that the type of professional services they required presented a new set of challenges and opportunities for creative problem solving. That’s when I decided to start Rockmont Management and we really have filled that niche quite effectively.”
Rockmont has become known for its flexibility by working with property owners and real estate agencies on a full-service or project basis. In celebrating its 20th anniversary, it has announced new capabilities in complete remodeling and renovation work.
Blumsack said, “We are unique in this industry because we respond to owners and tenants in a way that gives everyone an extra measure of comfort and confidence. And just as important is the fact that I personally oversee every project, large or small, and that brings an extra measure of peace of mind to all concerned. Plus, we have our own crews, office support staff and in-house marketing that make a difference in day-to-day operations. Our new remodeling services help to round out our growing list of capabilities and we are now expanding our service area. It’s been a great 20 years and we hope to build on our success for 20 more.”
Blumsack is a graduate of Syracuse University and is active as a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Somerville, and a member of the board of directors of the Somerville Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. His offices are at 323 Broadway.
